Thimphu Thromde is pleased to announce the selected candidates for the post of Building Inspector for which the selection interview was held on 26/10/2021.

While clearing the sewerage chambers of a blockage yesterday in Changzamtok, these clothing items were discovered to be causing the blockage. Again, we request the public to be mindful of where they dump their waste.
With the deadline for the Four Lane Road nearing, almost 90% of the blacktopping work has been completed.
Littering and illegal dumping of waste on the streets and drains can cause significant environmental issues, the main one being blocking of stormwater drains which increases flooding and erosion during monsoon soon.

The area above Wangchhu Lam, near the Flyover bridge, was a previously neglected area with overgrown weeds and plants but it will now be turned into a multi-tiered garden landscape.
